Albert Mas

About me

My name is Albert Mas Compés and I have been a programmer for this project. I am currently studying a degree on Video Games Development at UPC - CITM. My goal is to become a coder in a video game studio, since it is the area I enjoy the most in video game development.

I have been in charge of implementing the sound system and automated build creation for our engine "Project Atlas", as well as creating the settings menu for the game.

My Work

I implemented the Audiokinetic Wwise® sound engine SDK for C++ to our engine and created the necessary components for the designers to easily add audio sources and listeners to the environment of our game.

I was also in charge of creating the Wwise project and adding the required sounds selected by our designers.

I created the code that allowed the engine to take the data introduced to the Build Maker tool and create a build of the game in the specified folder and only with the required assets.

I created tools to modify important aspects of the game such as audio volume and graphics quality.

Then I made an easy to use settings menu for the UI, that comunicates with the engine through scripts and allows the user to easily change the settings.

Finally, I made that the settings save automatically and are loaded at the start of the game.
